The general secretaries of 26 Development Agencies came together at the “Innovation Initiative Training” organized by the Ministry of Development.

The event, hosted by the Ankara Development Agency, focused on the topic of “innovation” for sustainable regional development.

The “Innovation Initiative Training,” organized by the Ministry of Development, was held on November 15, 2011, in the Ankara Meeting Hall of the Ankara Development Agency, with the participation of the general secretaries of 26 development agencies operating in Turkey and experts from the Ministry of Development. Dr. Hakan Gürsu, founding partner and designer of Novusens Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute, served as the trainer. The meeting primarily addressed a macro perspective on innovation. In this section, Turkey's economic vision was examined with numbers, and an introduction to innovation was provided. Subsequent sessions explored the question, “Why innovation for sustainable regional development?” The meeting, which examined the relationship between design and innovation with examples from around the world, concluded with a final evaluation.
