THE RESULTS of “OPEN DATA and SMART CITIES” PROJECT WERE PRESENTED AT UK TECH CONFERENCE, ISTANBUL’

The findings of “Open Data and Smart Cities” Project, supported by UK Prosperity Fund Future Cities Program was shared in “Open Data Panel” of the UK Tech Conference that was held on 17th of February, 2020 in Istanbul. The conference, hosted by the UK Department of International Trade, brought business leaders and public thought leaders and many high-level keynote speakers at various panels, workshops and meetings together under the areas of financial technology, agriculture, digital health, digitization in production, science and innovation, open data and smart cities.

Technology businesses and entrepreneurs who want to learn more about the opportunities to expand their business in the UK. Industries, businesses, government and public bodies interested in learning more about UK’s expertise in smart technologies and buying services and products from the UK. Universities and research institutions wanting to find out about research funding opportunities and identify areas of R&D collaboration between the UK and Turkey.

At the conference, trade and investment opportunities between Turkey and the United Kingdom, how investors can establish companies in UK and how they can grow them there while in-depth presentations took place on the issue of corporate liability.

NOVUSENS Big Data Institute was invited to the “Open Data” panel to share the Open data and Smart Cities Project in which Ms. Renate Samson, Policy Advisor of Open Data Institute from UK and Mr. Erol Ozguner, CIO of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality attended.
