"TURKEY SMART MOBILITY PROJECT" was PRESENTED in "SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY CONGRESS" of ISTANBUL METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY on 17-18 December 2019!
"Sustainable Mobility Congress" was held on 17-18 December 2019 in Istanbul by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) to discuss the challenges of Istanbul on mobility.
Academicians, NGOs, private industry companies, government institutions and agencies and related departments of IBB discussed the potential solutions to the current challenges and proposed potential solutions by sharing their know-how and experiences in the congress where 3000 participants and 65 speakers attended.
"NOVUSENS Smart City Insitute" was invited to present "UK-Turkey Smart Mobility" Project outcome; share the current situation of smart mobility market in Turkey and abroad and share future trends of smart mobility in the "New Generation of Vehicles" session of the congress. NOVUSENS stated that "Our cities should be developing a holistic system of Sustainable Urban Mobility where the focus will be on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), MaaS, Shared Mobility, Micro Mobility and Big Data-Open Data through collaboration among government, private industry, civil society and academies. One of the approaches to make it is to develop Low Carbon Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans".
