“Green Tales of Izmir” hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality on February 22-23, 2022 with the Dutch Embassy!
Novusens Smart City Institute has been implementing the “Green Tales of Turkey Roadshow Initiative” supported by the Dutch Embassy that aims to showcase Dutch best practices in cities and inspire Turkish counterparts to make their cities green and livable, while promoting local green tales from Turkey. Green Tales of Izmir event was conducted on 22-23 February, 2022 where Erik Weststrate Deputy Head of Mission , Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Turkey Representing Dutch Ambassador and Dutch team participated in person.
The events have been conducted in historical Gas Factory hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality that have created potential collaborations and dialogue between Dutch and Turkish organizations in sustainable and smart environment domains, such as collaborations for Quick Win Smart City projects, EU Town Twinning program and Climate Change Adaptation.
All the events were made through a hybrid approach including both in-person and online/virtual activities due to pandemic Covid-19 situation with maximum care paid for the related pandemic restrictions.
“Green Tales of Turkey Roadshow Initiative” will continue in 2022.
